Testing VLC 2.2.4 with 12bit HEVC

Test encode files with no audio:

video-x265-8bit-420.mp4
video-x265-10bit-420.mp4
video-x265-10bit-444.mp4

video-x265-12bit-444.mp4

VLC 2.2.4 plays everything except the 12bit files (green screen).
PowerDVD 15 only plays 8bit and 10bit 4:2:0 - it doesn't play 4:4:4 or 12bit.
MPC-HC with LAV plays everything except x265 12bit 4:4:4 (green vertical lines)
smplayer plays all files including x265 12bit 4:4:4

The 10bit and 12bit files created using the AviSynth dither tools.
